Brett the Beyotch !!
Sick and tired of this whole Brett Favre thing. Been sick of it for years, it's becoming an annual thing. People always seem to take up for this guy, but he's truly a selfish person. It's always about Brett. Most sports legends have bowed out gracefully, but not this guy. It's sad, actually.
Look at how he faxed in his letter of reinstatement well after traing camp has begun. Another sign of "All about Brett !" Funny how everyone forgets that this is the same cat that was strung out on pain killers. That mere fact didn't affect his passing yardage totals, did it ? No one wants to put an asterisk on that.
Watching his interview with Greta Van Susteren ( Sp. ? ) it was funny to watch him flip the scrip on the Packers like they actually owe him something. In my book, you are judged by what you do in the POST season. Last I checked, he has ONE Super Bowl ring. Good enough to have him mentioned in the same breath as Trent Dlfer and Eli Manning. Game number 9 snags A-Rod
It's sad to see A-Rod go out like this. I remember reading how Standard Oil would send beautiful women to the heads of state of countries who had oil and seduce/marry the leaders. Next thing you know, the leader was dead or ruined some other kind of way, and Standard or some other oil giant, had control of the oil- TO THIS DAY. In the book "Double Cross" it tells how Marilyn Monroe was used in the same way. The baseball hiearchy puts up with Aaron, hates Barry, and wants to make damn sure that A-Rod doesn't get anywhere near 800, let alone 713. And who botched Ken Griffey Jr.'s surgery? A-Rod doesn't have the common sense or consiousness to realize his importance and then protect his potential place in history. He's being attacked by a mercenary in panties (evidently she took them off). 25 yrs since Scarface and Purple Rain
I just got through watching Scarface for the millionth time. Wonder why no mention of the movie's 25th anniversary? I'll watch Purple Rain soon too. Both were released in 1983. Here in the D, those movies stayed in the theatres for 7-8 months!!! Talk about legs. I know they had to both gross $400 million each in the states alone. That's not what was reported and I know that none of the actors got paid what they should have been paid. And why didn't Pacino get an Oscar nomination? I wonder who got best actor that year...

 ****SIGH**** I wonder what was going through the Shaquille O¡¯Neal¡¯s mind as he watched the Lakers walk off the court last night giving up game 4 at home with a 24 point lead. I think one thing that all Laker fans has to say to themselves is¡±I SURE MISS THE BIG SHAQ.¡± You see with Shaq guys Powe,Perkins,P.J.Brown, Garnett.
